DISCIPLING KIDS & STUDENTS
(AND THEIR GROWN-UPS)
Jesus highly valued inviting kids to participate in God’s kingdom.
We will prioritize safe, engaging child- & teen-specific spaces that come alongside
grown-ups to nurture each child’s relationship with Christ, by fostering peer relationships & discipleship,
& equipping them to start discipling others.
PRESCHOOL + ELEMENTARY
*Weekly classes available during gatherings, for 1 - 5-year-olds. Elementary kids have a once-a-month class, and otherwise stay with grow-ups and older kids in church gatherings. Kids are intentionally engaged during gatherings; activity sheets available.*
While kids of all ages are always welcome in our gatherings, in each class, kids explore God’s word & presence through creative arts & activities, lively discussion, & fun Bible training.
STUDENTS
Jr. High (6th+) students have a once a month class immediately following our main gathering for about an hour. They will engage with scripture and enjoy fellowship with peers.
Students will engage in mentored, age-specific Mentored D.N.A Groups (similar to those for adults, here). In this context, students get to ask & answer real questions, serve others, & understand God, ourselves, & our world together.
ADULT EQUIPPING
Members of Salt+Light with gifting in this area will help grown-ups with wisdom & resources on everyday discipleship at home & also during Missional DNA gatherings. They suggest ideas, & provide resources & training to equip you for various elements of parenting & discipling kids & teens.
